I have a confession to make. I love my hot tub! It’s the best investment I ever made because it’s an investment in me. It’s changed my life—and my family’s lives, too.

I was Looking for Ways of Reducing Stress. I Found a Hot Tub.

I had never owned a pool or hot tub before. I always figured they were too much work or too expensive. But working 60 hours a week, I was looking for ways of reducing stress, and between school and sports, my kids were looking for a fun way to soothe their aches and pains. Then there’s my wife, who was always curious about relaxation therapy. I realized we needed a family fix, so that’s when I started thinking about the benefits of owning a hot tub.

How Much is a Hot Tub?

I started doing some research. “How much is a hot tub,” I wondered. Cost is always a concern, and I was worried this would be a luxury purchase way over our budget. Fortunately, I was wrong! My wife and I were surprised to see how affordable they are. And with so many different sizes, shaps, features and accessories, we were able to find the perfect hot tub for our needs.

We keep our hot tub open year-round and use it every day. After a long day at work, I look forward to coming home, soaking in the hot tub, and letting my stress melt away in the warm, bubbly water. My favorite seat is the corner—the location my kids lovingly call, “Dad’s Seat.” It has SIX massaging jets and it does wonders for my back muscles and reducing stress overall.

My wife prefers her morning soak while she drinks her coffee. It gives her the energy she needs to get through the day. And the kids? They simply love having some friends over for a mini hot tub party after school or practice. And on weekends, our hot tub is the hot spot of the neighborhood.

Relaxation Therapy Shouldn’t Be Work!

If something is considered relaxation therapy, there shouldn’t be a lot of fuss involved. I was afraid that my hot tub would be a lot of work, but I was delighted to discover it’s a breeze. They’re so easy to maintain if you give it the proper care from the start. The most important element is the water chemistry. If you make sure your water is balanced and sanitized, safety and years of enjoyment are sure to follow! Our hot tub has become such an important part of our lives, I can’t imagine life with it anymore. In fact, I’m in my hot tub as I write this. What can I say? I love my hot tub!
